If you need automobile services don't hesitate to call this AAMCO shop... best place in town. Pat was very kind, professional, knowledgeable and honest. Explains everything in details. I've been to places that have no respect, don't explain nothing and or try to rip people off. You will not find that here.

When my transmission died, I called several shops in the area. It was a frustrating experience, to say the least. I couldn't get clear costs or timelines from many shops...until I called AAMCO in Altoona. They were, by far, the most helpful. They were very friendly and repaired my car quickly at a great price. Highly recommend them.

Real quick, rebuilt our GMC Acadia transmission in a few days for a fair price. It is working great now. No more surging and shift stutter. Pat, the owner, is very helpful and very nice to deal with.
